The short answer
Yes. Start with the shooting option you want and keep unnecessary mods off. Rift’s complete feature set gives you room to expand; it does not require an overloaded first configuration.

Compare Rift with other 2K27 scripts →Choose a minimum useful setup
Open the menu, select a build, and choose one shooting path. Write down the active mode and the button that triggers it. Leave custom dribbles, finishing, and special moving-shot options off until you are ready to learn them. That makes the first few checks much easier to interpret.
Add one feature with a purpose
If the next thing you want is a dribble move, learn that move and its shot transition. If finishing matters more, learn one Dunk Assist mode instead. Do not enable a setting because its name sounds strong when you do not yet know the activation or expected behavior.
Keep the simple build available
Use another saved build for the expanded setup and retain your notes for the original. If something feels different, compare the two deliberately. Rift is our best complete pick partly because the broader package can stay optional while you learn the controls that matter most.
Quick reference
| What to check | The useful detail |
|---|---|
| Minimum | One shooting path and a saved build. |
| Next | One feature that solves a real need. |
| Fallback | A documented simple configuration. |
