The short answer
Rift is our pick for players who want Button Rhythm without giving up other shooting options. Its physical Square/X rhythm path uses a manual release and five named speed choices.

Button Rhythm is not the same as selecting timed Rhythm Auto-Green. You hold and release the physical Square/X button, while the chosen speed affects the rhythm behavior. This distinction matters when comparing a demo: identify which path the creator is actually showing before copying a setting.
Keep a normal shot available
With Button Rhythm enabled, the selected L3/LS or R3/RS shortcut can send a normal Square/X shot. The opposite Auto-Green bind follows the active remap. That gives you more than one option in a single build, provided you learn the button map and do not treat every press as the same type of shot.
Choose the speed in a controlled way
The menu offers Slowest through Fastest. Start from your documented setup and compare a nearby choice while keeping the same jumper and release cue. Save the one you want in the intended build. The best buying feature here is understandable control, not a claim that the fastest preset is automatically best for everyone.
