The short answer
Rift can keep a normal shot on a selected stick-click while Button Rhythm is enabled. Check which stick is mapped and which then activates Auto Green so the layout matches what you expect.

Compare Rift with other 2K27 scripts →Clicking is different from aiming the stick
L3/LS and R3/RS here mean pressing the stick down. They do not mean tilting the stick in a direction. If stick-click comfort is your main concern, think about how you hold the controller and whether you can make that press deliberately without adding unwanted movement.
Map the two roles
With Button Rhythm on, the selected stick-click is a normal Square/X shortcut. Auto Green stays on R3/RS unless that stick is selected for the normal shortcut, in which case Auto Green moves to L3/LS. The menu hint is the quickest way to confirm the current arrangement.
Choose with your own controls in mind
Rift’s flexibility is useful, but do not assume it supports every possible custom button map. If you use a controller app or special hardware layout, confirm the inputs that reach the Zen. Save the mapping in the intended build and keep a short note next to your shooting settings.
Quick reference
| What to check | The useful detail |
|---|---|
| Selected stick | Normal shot shortcut with Button Rhythm on. |
| Other bind | Auto Green according to the mapping. |
| Physical Square/X | Remains the Button Rhythm input. |
